Fantastic results in the Local Elections

Welwyn Hatfield Lib Dems celebrate their success in the 2026 local elections
We are very pleased that we have successfully held all six wards where we had councillors up for re-election. Our thanks go out to everyone who voted Lib Dem and put their faith in us.
Four existing councillors were re-elected and in two wards where Councillors had stood down, we successfully elected new Councillors:
- Cllr Sandreni Bonfante re-elected in Welham Green and South Hatfield
- Cllr Gemma Moore re-elected in Handside
- Cllr Duncan Jones re-elected in Peartree
- Cllr Jean-Paul Skoczylas re-elected in Sherrards
- Cllr Lewis Ross newly elected in Panshanger
- Cllr Lukasz Stasiowski newly elected in Hatfield South-West
Our thanks also go out to all our local Candidates who were not successful this time, but who stood up for Lib Dem values and gave everyone an opportunity to vote Liberal Democrat.
