Thank you for giving me the chance to serve the Peartree ward community. 

I have used my 4 years to good effect, helping residents and working constructively with the council. I have personally intervened on behalf of residents when they have complained to me about council issues. 

The 2023 elections saw the Liberal and Labour parties agreeing to form a new administration ensuring that the will of the council members takes precedence. I spent the first year as a Cabinet member for Resources (Finance and Estates) and then the last 2 years as a shadow member for Resources. I have also been the Chair for the last 2 years of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

We continue to steer the direction of the council towards ideas on green issues, parking and a stricter regime regarding new planning applications. Providing housing is really important but it needs to be approved within guidelines preserving the nature of our Garden City. It also needs to provide a proper infrastructure to cope with expansion of our ward.

I will continue to work for Peartree together with my Liberal Democrat Colleagues to make this a better place to live.
