I have lived and worked in the area for over 40 years and am embedded in the local community. My daughters and their young families live in Hertfordshire and are part of the wider community of Hertfordshire.

During my 4 years on the Hatfield Town Council I worked on the planning committee to ensure development was in keeping with the surroundings and not over development. I supported the development of the allotments in the town and supported local events for local residents.

I am standing in the local elections for the Borough Council because I want the place I live in to be the best it can be. Hatfield needs a strong voice in the council to push forward policies that enhance our town. There are lots of things about Hatfield to be proud of and recent improvements in the Town Centre show what can be done. Hatfield has a long history and a bright future which we should celebrate.

If elected I will join a growing number of Liberal Democrat councillors who will work hard to make your town a better place to live.
