I moved with our family from Welwyn Garden City to Welwyn in 1965, where my wife became a teacher, and our children attended local schools. I worked in medicines research until I left to start my own IT and sports consultancy company in 1996. I have managed a youth sports club since 1996, and over several years have raised Sport England funds in the borough for example, for Gosling Sports Park improvements, young school leaders’ projects, and older people’s exercise. As well as concerns for the environment 

I am a member of the Royal Society of Biology, the British Computer Society, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, and The National Trust. 

I have always been passionate about maximising health opportunities for everyone and feel there is a lot more to be done in Welwyn and the borough.
