Welwyn Hatfield Liberal Democrat Borough Councillors

A Year of Change in Welwyn Hatfield - 12 Months Later

At the Local Elections in Welwyn Hatfield on May 2nd 2024, Welhat Lib Dems gained extra seats, bringing us to 16 Borough Councillors. This result meant we now have significantly more councillors than the Conservatives for the first time.....

We currently have the most councillors we have ever had on the borough council and continue to run the council with Labour as a Joint Administration for Welwyn Hatfield Borough council. 

Now, just over a year after the JA started, we believe that the council is becoming the ‘can do’ organisation that we hoped it would be, but it is a not there yet. Our councillors and our cabinet members will continue to work hard every day to make a better Welwyn Hatfield.
