"NEWTS BARNFIELD" was the headline as Paul Zukowskyj released the news that the Tory-run County Council's New Barnfield Incinerator project might be "dead in the water" thanks to the presence of the Great Crested Newt a stone's throw from the site.

Paul has organised a public meeting about the incinerator at which all political parties will be present, and will include a talk from Dr Dick van Steenis who is an expert on pollution and public health. This will take place at the St Johns Youth and Community Centre at Hilltop, Hatfield, starting at 7.30pm on 23rd November.
