As the local council by-election for 3rd January hots up, residents are asking "Who will get the best deal for Welham Green??".

For years the area has had Conservative councillors at District and County level, but still there are problems with potholed roads, traffic, vandalism, litter, and poor recycling collections. Many residents are saying that it's time for a fresh new face who will get things done for Welham Green.

"I have been delighted by the warm reception I have received when I have called round asking residents views on local issues and the positive response to our recent Residents' Survey. Many of you have told me about problems and issues that have been neglected for years" said John.
