Recycling News - What's missing from doorsteps in Welwyn Hatfield?9.15.22pm GMT Sun 5th Mar 2006
The recycling fight goes on as we continue to push the Conservative administration to increase the range of items to be collected. Do you want plastics, cans and cardboard recycled? If you do, please help us get the message across. All that is required is the political will to add the missing items. Once that is in place, ways will be found, you can be sure. Please see our events list for the date of the next Plastics Recycling Event. This was the first Christmas that we have had the compost bins, and research from other districts said that there was no demand for a collection until the end of January. What do you think? Did you have piles of waste you could not fit into the bin? Please let us know so that we can make sure the council is using real data in future. Contact Tony Skottowe by phone or email. See "Contact Us" page for details of how to contact your local Liberal Democrat representatives on County and District Councils.
